Marine Engineer

  Floating Power Plant A/S (FPP) have an opportunity for an experienced marine engineer to join our fast-growing business and lead the development and delivery of key systems. If you want to have direct influence and be part of a renewable energy adventure


  • Lead design and integration of marine and ship systems including ballast systems, hotel services, nav aids, etc.
  • Define system requirements, legislative, safety, and technical, for each project
  • Prepare project documentation deliverables
  • Manage equipment suppliers, including technical input to tenders, tender review, and integration of scopes
  • Assess engineering documentation, feasibility, suitability, and compliance with requirements
  • Work with other disciplines to ensure appropriate system integration
  • Monitor and assess new technical solutions for development/improvements

Education, Skills, and Experience


  • Degree in relevant Engineering / Naval Architecture discipline or similar experience
  • 5 + years of proven experience in marine engineering
  • Must be eligible to work in the EU


  • Experience in other areas of marine engineering and naval architecture, such as corrosion protection, hydrodynamic analysis, mooring analysis, etc.
  • Experience in offshore wind
  • Experience working across the development lifecycle, from concept to detailed

Other Attributes

  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Strong written communications and presentation skills
  • Ability to work across cultures and in different geographies
  • Ability to travel occasionally.
